Linda Graff has been working and consulting in the nonprofit sector since 1980. She is a voluntary sector and risk management specialist, an impassioned advocate for the field of volunteer program management, and a dynamic and in-demand international trainer.
Linda was the Director of the Volunteer Centre in Hamilton for nearly ten years. There, she worked extensively with leadership volunteers, and delivered workshops and papers on volunteer program management to thousands of participants with a particular specialty in volunteer/paid staff/union relations.
Linda now works as a private consultant, specializing in the nonprofit sector. Perhaps best known for her workshop and training activities, Linda presents original and custom sessions on volunteer program management and board development across North America and now into Europe, Asia and Australia. Linda’s presentations are consistently practical, substantive, and challenging.

National Volunteer Week 2008

NVW is the biggest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism this country has and Volunteer Saskatoon is taking the lead in Saskatoon on the celebrations again this year.
The 2008 Volunteer Recognition Tool-Kit is being developed to help organizations deliver their own NVW celebrations the week of April 27 to May 3. To help you say ‘thank you’ to volunteers, we have developed a tool-kit of resources and products. Posters, cards, buttons and temporary tattoos as well ideas, tips and links to great resources will be featured in the tool-kit.

Thursday, March 16, 2006 Facilitator: Smart People, Stupid Meetings David Godwin has been employed with the City of Saskatoon for over 16 years and for 13 of those years he has been with the Community Development Branch as a Community Consultant. In this capacity David works closely with local community associations regarding all aspects of their operations. He has been a consultant in 26 different neighbourhoods around Saskatoon over the years.
David has also been involved with many not-for-profit organizations in Canada and Saskatchewan as a volunteer himself. He has presented sessions to the Canadian Red Cross - Saskatchewan Division, Canadian Lifesaving Society - Saskatchewan Branch, Ducks Unlimited, Saskatchewan Water Corporation, the Saskatchewan and Canadian Camping Associations and the Saskatoon Open Door project committee.
